Associate Degree in Arts (ADA)

This two-year (04 semester) program is designed to get a head start to new learners before they finally jump to a specialization. This comprehensive program offers a wide variety of core and electives courses given a great exposure to learners while enabling them to make a more informed decision about their field of expertise.

An associate degree in arts offers art focused subjects including business, communication, fine arts etc. After completion of Associate Degree in arts, students can study further and complete a BS degree or a student can start an early career as;

  • Social Media Executive
  • IT Support Professional
  • Unit incharge
  • Local employee

Eligibility for Admission

  • An applicant should have passed HSSC or an equivalent qualification (12 years of education)
  • Be able to pass test/interview taken at Mindverse college with regard to admission (Optional)
  • Seats are limited and will be allocated to top scorers in merit list
  • A merit will be calculated as Intermediate 50%, Matric, 30% and test/interview 20%.
  • Admission will be granted on the basis of merit; no quota is allocated for a certain group other than reserved quota.
  • 5% of the total seats are reserved for minorities and applicants with a disability. In case a reserved seat remains vacant, female students of remote areas may apply for admission.

Degree Requirements

For the award of ADP degree, a student must pass courses totaling at least 66 credit hours including all those courses which have been specified as Core courses.

  • Provided further that no candidate shall take up B Course of Mathematics unless he has taken up A Course of Mathematics.
  • All those candidates who have passed AD in Arts with General Mathematics need only to qualify B-Course of Mathematics (Paper I & II) as an additional subject for eligibility of admission to M.Sc. or BS Mathematics.
  • Provided also that “Mathematics General” cannot be offered with Mathematics Course or Mathematics-B Course.
  • Syllabus of the subjects of Computer Science, Home Economics, Fine Arts, Health and Physical Education, Library Sciences, Psychology, Social Work, Statistics and Geography also include practical
  • In addition, the candidate shall have to pass one optional subject carrying 100 Marks from among the following:

  1. The medium of examination in all subjects, except languages, shall be Urdu or English at the option of the candidate. The medium of Examination in Pakistani Languages shall be the language concerned. The medium of examination in Arabic and Persian shall be Urdu, English or the language concerned at the option of the candidate. The medium of examination in other languages (including English) shall be English.
